Troops > Hero

For training a Hero, a player should have a Hero's mansion and dependant on which type of soldier (Infantry, Swordsman, Archers and Knights) you train as a Hero, you need a certain amount of IQ points and resources.  However, you can use gold coins instead of IQ points, for more explanation about this please refer to "Hero's mansion"
There is no restriction on how many Heroes you train in each city.

The defence and attacking level of the Hero.
The Hero's level is based on which troops you have selected and the experience gained previously in the academy.  However, once the Hero is chosen its level can no longer be upgraded in the academy.  From now on the level of defence and attack of the hero will be determined by its experience gained in battle.  You can see the experience points in the Hero's mansion in the section Hero's list.  You can use the points manually to either increase its defence or its attack level of the Hero in the Hero's mansion. You can increase the level of defence or attack to a level of 1,000.

The level of defence and attack = base power + (base power + (300 * wheat consumption of hero / 7) * (1.007 * hero level) - 1)
Where base power depends on the attack/defense power of that type of soldier (e.g Archer attack power = 120)

Example one hero of type knight at level 1,000 would be equal to 9,298 knights at level one.

How to gain military experience points.
The military experience points are gained when the Hero is present.  The way the experience battle points are calculated is explained below.

If a player wins a battle, with every 300-grain points the enemy troops no longer consume, you will gain one point of military experience.

If a player loses, with every 500-grain points the enemy troops no longer consume, you will gain one point of military experience.

Please note a military experience gain belongs to all of your cities and this will show in your Hero's mansion.
The killing of spies does not gain military experience as they are not military personnel.
The players do not gain military experience by attacking his or hers own city.

Hero's level of health.
The Hero like other troops can be injured or die, however, while they are resting in the Hero's mansion their level of health will increase, but you can increase their recovery by hiring a wizard.

Please note the time it takes to train a Hero in the Hero's mansion at level 20, is shown in the box below.
